The new job is cool. I don't feel like a useless person anymore. My birthday came and went. I made a coconut cake. I could kick myself in the butt because I have gained a little weight. The Olympics have started.

Soemtimes, all you can do is shrug your shoulders at the visicitudes of life.

I really hate how over-zealous I am sometimes. Like Miss America on crack. I really need to work on that. I'm not kidding.

Had my orientation at Pier One. It was cool. Go back tomorrow at 9:30 - 1:30.

Sue called. She got rear-ended. Details later.

I got a really cool lampshade from Goodwill that looks like it came right out of a Perry Mason episode.

I hope I don't jinx this by saying it, but the Pier One interview went well. At least I think it did. Hopefully I will get it.

We were supposed to go to San Antonio at the end of July, around the time of my birthday (ugh). Sue got into a text fight with Mike. Now, she says that we're not going. Good. I didn't want to go anyway. She'll probably change her mind though. I don't even really like Mike, anyway. We'll see what happens.

Last night we ate at Outback. There were 13 of us. I was fun, I guess. I sat between Heather and Michelle.

Sue's in Phoenix until Monday. I have the house to myself. Went to Goodwill and got 2 books. One with short stories and one with 10 stories by E.A. Poe. Went to the dollar store. Got some bathroom stuff.
I'm pissed because I've gained a few lbs. That is unacceptable. I must stop eating.

Riverfest

Sue and I went to Riverfest of Friday. We saw MuteMouth, Chevelle and Third Eye Blind. I had a pretty good time. Here is a picture I took with my iphone.

Yesterday we watched Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close on Pay per view.

Today was Memorial Day.
